We have fully qualified and insured Personal Trainers and are able to offer Personal Training in our gym in Ashton-under-Lyne. All of our instructors are available for private tuition be it in Mixed Martial Arts, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Kickboxing, Submission Grappling, Fitness or Strength and Conditioning. Amongst the team we have a very broad skillset and will be able to facilitate the training you want at a time that suits you.
Personal Training allows you to have a completely bespoke session to your individual needs. Training in one to one sessions will typically last for an hour though longer or shorter sessions can be arranged. If you have specific needs relating to training it can be very helpful to work solo with an instructor, many people find that they are able to make accelerated progress with private sessions making up a proportion of their training.
Private tuition is a great way to accelerate your progress through training. For the fastest progress a mixture of group classes and 1 to 1 tune up sessions will see you get furthest in the least ammount of time. If you aren't feeling confident enough to jump into a group of other people or maybe have a schedule where you can't make our regular classes these can be a great place to start. Pads & Bags
This session is much more than a Boxercise class. All to often Boxercise classes can be lead by poorly informed or ill practiced instructors that can ingrain bad habits that are hard to remove. Practice makes permanent not necessarily perfect, learn right the first time. You'll be happy to know that the techniques shown in these sessions are fight proven by our instructors who have spent many years training and are proven in competition. The class has a focus on fitness, fun and fundamental techniques to striking. A typical session may involve aerobic exercises such as shadow boxing, skipping and striking drills, as well as anaerobic exercises that may include some plyometrics, more explosive drills, many sessions will involve progressive stretching. You'll be able to blow off some steam on the bags while enjoying yourself and learning a skill. There is no sparring in this class and it is a great entry point for anyone wishing to get in to striking or great shape.
This is a fitness class designed to help members get stronger, more flexible, faster and build muscular endurance. The goal with this fitness class is to make people perform better and avoid injuries.
These conditioning sessions focus on muscle repetition to build muscle memory for combat sports. So many of these movements mimic themselves in every day life so not only can you increase your specific fitness to martial arts but also your general fitness by training in a functional way.
These fitness classes are great for everyone, if you're looking to get back in shape and haven't trained for a while or those looking to improve their fitness for competition. We have fully qualified staff who are able to tailor the circuit for each members fitness, so if you have never tried a fitness class before or are an athlete we will be able to offer alternatives that tailor the session to you.
